bookishandi: Happy Valentine’s Day, all. —- The first Valentine’s Day in Pete’s World (which is March 14, not February 14), the Doctor decided to celebrate properly. After all, he really hadn’t had a reason to observe this odd earth holiday before now. A few months back, he’d read something in a magazine in the checkout queue saying spreading rose petals on a bed was really romantic. He thought it might be an all right idea if getting Rose roses wasn’t so…obvious. On Valentine’s Day proper, he went down to Tesco and bought a whole box of 3D baby animal valentines and filled all thirty six out (to Rose, of course) and spread those on the bed instead. Rose was rather charmed until later, tumbling into said bed, a cardboard corner poked her side. A paper cut later, the Doctor admitted it wasn’t his best idea. Still, he declared his first Valentine’s Day a success. March 14th is my birthday. which means i’ll be expecting my own Ten Too this year. better get the dimension cannon ready!
